The bottle design is a microcosm of the delicate details of the Burberry trench jacket: the bottle cap with the pattern like the signature button on the shirt and the cuff bow made of gabardine woven in the UK, the material that made the trench jacket to honor Thomas Burberry's historic invention in the fashion industry more than a century ago. The perfume bottle is located in a trench-colored paper box, the inside of the box is embossed with the classic Burberry stripes in a golden light.

My Burberry features the signature honey iridescent gold, one of the three colors of the brand's Heritage trench coat collection and also the trench color of Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne in the My Burberry media campaign.
